There are numerous butterfly experts and citizen scientists in India involved in conducting systematic repeated surveys of butterflies in forests and around urban areas.
This App helps in cataloguing the observed species data in the field, detailed list can be downloaded later from the App to the IPhone.

* TNHS Western Ghats butterflies (Courtesy Dr. Kalesh Sadasivan, Travancore Nature History Society, Kerala)
- These lists contain both scientific and common names of the butterflies.
- Output to IPhone in CSV (Comma Separated Values) format to suit databases for research requirements.
- Output data file contains GPS location, butterfly species name, count and times of observation.
- Not-for-profit : This app is free for use and does not contain Ads.
