"New Wheels Of Change" is an erudite application incorporated under an Erasmus+ Project. The application's main focus is to promote sustainable urban mobility and traffic safety. It seeks to provide teachers and students with the innovative learning tools necessary for comprehensively understanding eco-friendly transportation, active mobility, and traffic safety. This educative app consists of 10 modules each having 5 difficulty levels:

1. Traffic Signs: Understand and learn various traffic signals.
2. Traffic Rules: Get conversant with the dos and don'ts of the roads.
3. Repair: Learn the basics of vehicle repair and maintenance.
4. Safety and Protection: Measures to ensure personal safety during commuting.
5. Safety Equipment: Knowledge about essential safety tools.
6. Skills: Master the skills required for judicious road usage.
7. Road Behaviour: Learn about appropriate behaviour in different driving conditions.
8. Sustainability: Understanding the importance of sustainable commuting.
9. Health and Sport: The connection between active commuting and personal health.
10. Good to Know: Light-hearted yet informative facts enhancing your overall knowledge.

Each question in the module comes with three answer choices. Only one option is correct, while the other two are incorrect. But, we've made learning fun by including a humorous wrong answer along with a downright incorrect one, adding joy to your learning process.

Commencing from 24th October 2024, this application can be downloaded for free and is available initially in the German language. Subsequent updates will introduce the following additional languages also available for free:
English, Italian, Macedonian, and Slovenian.

Our app's primary objective is to sensitize the young and mature audience about using more sustainable transport modes and enhancing safety in traffic simultaneously. The application uses digital educational content and integrates novel technologies to spark interest and illustrate the importance of safe road behaviour.

Our application's development involves an international collaboration comprising partners from Austria, Italy, Slovenia, and North Macedonia. This collaboration emphasizes the project's European dimension and illustrates the importance of cross-border approaches to promoting education and sustainability.

The app also fosters the development of skills necessary for achieving the European mobility goals and digitalization strategy. It seeks to counter climate change while promoting a safe, sustainable, and healthy lifestyle. Substantial co-financing from the European Union supports the entire "New Wheels of Change" project.

Die App New Wheels Of Change ist Teil eines Erasmus+ Projekts, das sich auf die Förderung von nachhaltiger urbaner Mobilität und Verkehrssicherheit konzentriert. Die App bietet Lehrer:innen und Schüler:innen innovative Lernwerkzeuge, die helfen, die Themen umweltfreundliche Fortbewegung, aktive Mobilität und Verkehrssicherheit effektiv zu erlernen.

Jede Frage besteht dabei aus 3 Antwortmöglichkeiten, wobei immer nur eine die richtige Antwort ist. Eine weitere Antwortmöglichkeit ist immer grundsätzlich falsch und eine Antwortmöglichkeit ist falsch und gleichzeitig lustig. Damit soll die Freude und der Spaß am Lernen gesteigert werden. Die App ist ab 24.10.2024 kostenlos und auf Deutsch Verfügbar. In den kommenden Updates werden folgende weitere Sprachen hinzugefügt und stehen kostenlos zur Verfügung:

Ein wichtiges Ziel der App ist es, sowohl junge als auch erwachsene Zielgruppen zu sensibilisieren, nachhaltigere Verkehrsmittel zu nutzen und dabei gleichzeitig die Sicherheit im Verkehr zu steigern. Sie greift auf digitale Lerninhalte zurück und integriert neue Technologien, um das Interesse zu wecken und die Relevanz von sicherem Verhalten im Straßenverkehr nahe zu bringen.

Die App ist im Rahmen einer internationalen Zusammenarbeit entwickelt worden, die Partner aus Österreich, Italien, Slowenien und Nordmazedonien umfasst. Diese Zusammenarbeit unterstreicht die europäische Dimension des Projekts und zeigt, wie wichtig grenzüberschreitende Ansätze zur Förderung von Bildung und Nachhaltigkeit sind. Die App fördert auch die Entwicklung von Kompetenzen, die zur Umsetzung der europäischen Mobilitätsziele und der Digitalisierungsstrategie erforderlich sind.

Das Projekt ist eine Antwort auf die zunehmende Bedeutung der Digitalisierung in der Bildung und die dringende Notwendigkeit, umweltfreundliche Alternativen zu fossilen Brennstoffen im Verkehrsbereich zu fördern. Es zielt darauf ab, den Klimawandel zu bekämpfen und gleichzeitig eine sichere, nachhaltige und gesunde Lebensweise zu fördern.
